My DS (ps. what does the D stand for?!) has a habit of waking and chatting for 30 mins or so in his cot. The other night it was actually 2 hours between 4am-6am and being a light sleeper I tend to lie awake and listen to it! Albeit this is not necessarrily a 'problem', I wonder if anyone else has experienced this and whether it is something that passes?

Oh, yes. the gibbering! Mine used to do it half asleep. I think it's pretty common. I learned to tune it out as I became used to it. I think it's a preparation for future speech?
D stands for dear or darling. Click on the acronym list at the top - there's thingd there I'd never heard of!
