Co-sleeping - how big is the rod I am creating for my back?

DD (10 months) was always a brilliant sleeper until she had a dreaded 'rash' at 4 months old. She has slept with us every night (bar about 3) ever since. She starts off the night in her cot at around 7.30, then wakes like clockwork at around 9.15pm, then she just keeps waking every 20 mins or so, as if to say, 'is it time yet?'. Eventually we give in and she gets in with us.

I really don't mind the co-sleeping (on the nights when she doesn't shuffle about), but am worried it is creating a big rift between myself and dh. How will she ever get any brothers and sisters?

Can anyone share any experiences or reassurances?
