To wake or not to wake part 2 - long daytime naps in a 1yr old

My DS goes to nursery 3 days a week and sleeps for about an hour or so a couple of times a day. On the other days, he goes down for a nap around 9-9.30am and then will sleep for 2-2 1/2 hours!

Should I wake him up? I think he just must be exhausted but then I worry he won't sleep well at night (he was going through a phase of waking at 5am but has stopped that over the last week but has not had the long morning naps). Hmm I think I might be answering my own question here ...
