Baby screams in sleep throughout night

My daughter is 5.5 months old and for the past 3 weeks has been screaming all through her nighttime sleep. She doesn’t wake up. Some times if it’s a small scream she can settle herself. If not she gets louder and louder until we intervene. We mostly try to hold her arms down to settle her until she stops struggling. This sometimes works but then she often starts screaming again 10 mins later.
When we’ve tried to settle her a few times without success then I feed her. I’m not sure she’s really hungry but it relaxes her and then when I put her down we might get an hours sleep if we are lucky before she starts screaming again. Picking her up doesn’t seem to help.
She sleeps fine during the day for naps in the pram without screaming. So I assume there is no medical problem causing discomfort lying down. I think she naps well because it’s warm and cosy in there. If I could put her in a bear suit for bed I would but I can’t. I try to keep the bedroom warm (c18 degrees) and dress as per the guidelines - don’t want her to overheat.
Sometimes she kicks as well as screams so I think it’s due to wind, but I don’t think it can be that all night.
Have tried attaching the Rockit to the Next to Me - on odd occasions this helps but mostly not.

Some nights we only get about 30mins unbroken sleep. Any suggestions for how to help her?
Thanks

When did the screaming start? Could it be pain from teething? if so have you tried some painkillers before bed to see if that helps? X

Pretty sure that for a baby that age, room temp should be btwn 20-22°. I know my little one wakes up constantly if the room isn't warm enough

Thanks both for your replies.
@Devilsmommy I have added a blanket which seems to help a bit.
@Brightandbreezey I am not sure if she’s teething but it’s a possibility as it only started a few weeks ago and is now on and off. No teeth have appeared yet but Calpol is a good suggestion thanks!
