Breaking the feed to sleep association 8 month

My daughter is 8 month old. We use a side cart cot set up and end up bed sharing for the majority of the night anyway as she needs boob to settle to sleep. Sleep is just shocking for me and I'm having to start thinking about going back to work soon and so need to try and sort our sleeping arrangements. Partner is very keen for LO to move into her own room and at this stage if I thought it would help I'm willing to try it.
Day time naps are also poor and short. If she goes in the cot she has 30-40 mins and then wakes up tired, if we contact nap and boob she sleeps for up to two hours.
Today I've put her down in the cot for both naps and she's woken after 40 mins, I picked her up and boobed her back to sleep to save the nap but then this isn't going to help me break the feed association is it but if I don't she will be overtired. Any tips please I'm shattered!

I never managed to break the feed to sleep association with my eldest. He eventually did it himself.

My youngest I’ve broken it and he still sleeps terribly. He fully self settles but he’s eight months old and his sleep is awful. My friend’s 8mo is bottle fed, has never fed to sleep, and is currently sleeping rubbish too. Sorry that’s probably not helpful.

You basically need your partner to take over and offer water I think, set a time that you won’t feed before etc.
