when is it ok for babies to sleep on their fronts?

ds has slept soundly on his back for 6 months and now he's decided the only way to sleep is on his front... is it ok for a 6 mo to do this? I put him on his back but he just rolls over.

That's fine. Once they can roll over you can leave them to sleep as they are.

Once they can roll back and forth it's fine
