Only sleeping in 4 hour blocks, how can I get her to sleep longer?

My DD is 19 weeks old. She's always been a good sleeper, co-slept from day 1, and now she is sleeping in her cot. We now have our evenings back as she sleeps from 7 - 11 then we feed her and then she goes down again but for only 4 hours then she comes into the bed with me and then sleeps for 2 - 3 hours. How do I get her to sleep longer, or am I wishing for the impossible? She is part bf part formula fed. The formula feeds are the 7pm and 11pm feeds. Any advice appreciated.

No advice sorry - I think that four hours sounds pretty good! I am lucky if I get more than two out of my DS who is 20 weeks. I hope you can find a solution that works for you.

Thanks Stefka. She managed 6 hours last night from 19.30 to 01.30. Maybe just a fluke but I would have preferred it to be from 01.30 to 07.30. Still looking for suggestions though. Good luck with your little one.

6 hours is really good!! Hopefully now she has done it once she will keep it up. My baby is a wee sleep refuser who is driving us nuts!

I have heard some people talk about doing a dream feed at 11 to get their LO's to sleep longer but never tried it so can't say if it works or not.

She's only tiny. Relax and go with her - the sleep will gradually extend.

Souns ok to me too. She'll probably start sleeping longer when she is 6 mths and eating. I found that made a difference with ds.
