Love to dream swaddle worth it?

I have the tommee tippee swaddle growbag for my 3 week old and so far he doesn't seem to get on with the swaddle. The issue is he doesn't get on with his arms out either. I am contemplating getting him the love to dream growbag as it seems to give more of a leeway for the arms. Does anyone else recommend them? Also how warm are there? My concern is they seem quite thin and obviously we're heading into the winter now.

I loved them for my baby. Quite expensive but i got all mine from Vinted so much cheaper. They stopped the reflex which woke him and then I bought the transition one where you can unzip the arms off when they are a bit older. I actually only bought one from their website direct for summer, one of the 0.2tog light ones for about £30. Used it over summer and sold on Vinted for £20. I would maybe get a 2.5 tog depending on how hot your room is for winter. We’re on 2.5tog and room is around 19 degrees but drops but not using love to dream anymore. Once he was used to arms being free we just went standard sleep sack/bag

One of mine loved the Arms Up version. Got them from Vinted as PP did. Get the thicker tog yes but don't put too much on underneath.

@Namechange10122 thank you for your reply. Just ordered one on vinted now 2.5 tog. They are expensive even on vinted! Hopefully worth it. So hard as my lo hates his arms being tucked in really tight but also wakes himself up with his arms. Fingers crossed this works.

Game changer for my DS and me. Before we got one he would only contact nap on me.
When I would put him down in his cot to sleep he had a really strong moro reflex and was literally slapping himself in the face and waking up.
First time in the love 2 dream he napped for 3 hours in his cot. I still remember that feeling of relief & amazement.
I bought a few weights & styles but we ended up using the transition one the most because he was approaching 4 months and I was worried about him learning to roll (which he didn't do for ages but hey).
I recommend them to everyone who says their baby will only contact nap and I lend mine out to friends for them to try - they've all gone on to buy either new or on Vinted.

Thank you for the replies. After another night of barely a couple of hours of solid sleep I woke up this morning and also ordered one on Amazon which is being delivered today. Praying this is going to give a few hours at least without him startling himself awake.
