DD been in sleeping bag since 12 weeks. Wanted to try duvet/ blankets etc but uncertain how to make transitin as DD seems to move all over her bed during the night whilst in sleeping bag...thus banging her head and ending up crying. Was thinking that blanket/ duvet may help prevent her moving around so much at night and would be a first step towards her big girls bed when we can take the sides down off her cot. ? Any ideas? WOuld greatly appreciate anyones help with this.

ah hah! Grobag do this new invention for exactly that! It is an all in one thing that attaches to mattress and is do duvet and pillow cant move around and you either zip or button (not sure) it up round the side when they have got in bed. Have a look on their website

I wouldn't worry
Grobags go up to 36 months, maybe more
why change things now?

I wouldn't worry either - my DS does the same, whatever position we put him to bed in he's always scrunched up in the corner with his head bent into an unnatural position! He seems quite comfy, although it does wake him sometimes but I think with a duvet he'd still move around as much and would probably wake more because he'd lose it and get cold.
