You know how this thread is called sleep? Can anyone tell me what’s sleep?? It’s been so long that I haven’t had any that I’ve forgotten what it’s like to actually sleep properly !! 💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💤

Haha omg same! What’s your situation?
I have an 11 week old DD who will not sleep anywhere but on me, currently spending nights up and down trying to get her to sleep in her cot for longer than 5 minutes and passing her to DH in the middle of the night so I can get at least an hour 😭😵‍💫

Well mines slightly different, I have 6 (yes 6) children ! 3 are step children and young adults, 2 still live at home. My youngest is 2.5 years old and wakes every night about 2ish and won’t go back into his cot which leads to me sleeping on the sofa with him sleeping on me. Then I have to get up at 5am to take step daughter to work, then I can lie back on sofa (still with son sleeping on me) then I have to get back up at 7am to take step son to work by which point youngest is waking up. Then I home school my 11 and 8 year old on top of looking after youngest and just when you think I’ve finished I have to then go pick up step children (phew) xx

Sleep eh? Sounds good! My toddler twins still wake every couple of hours, at least some nights it’s in sync to minimise the times I’m up.

Sounds like a lot of the running around for the kids falls to you OP. Any flexibility in DPs schedule?

Well because of the times you might have guessed. My 2.5 year old has just woken up and I’m now lying on the sofa with him lying on top of me 🙄 same old thing every night. I haven’t been to sleep yet, me and my husband get very little time together so we have to stay up late if we want time together so he’s just got into bed and I’ve come back downstairs with the toddler. Have to be back up in a few hrs, literally service on couple hrs sleep a night. At least your twins are considerate and wake up to co inside with each other, must think comon let’s make this ever so slightly more easy for mammy ! X
