MY 6 month son goes to bed at 7-7.30, and immediately falls asleep til about 2am, then he wakes between 5 and 15 times a night.
Sometimes for his dummy, sometimes because he has kicked his covers off (have tried sleeping bag-hates it)and sometimes just to laugh at me. He isnt hungry as I have offered a bottle, but he refuses it. He goes back to sleep after I give him his dummy again, but reawakens an hour or so later. This has now gone on for about 2 months and Im knackered. Can anyone give me any tips please?

Yes get rid of the dummy, I have just done it with my 7 month old - he sleeps so much better. It was not as tough as I thought, gave him a teddy instead.

He cried the first night, and it was hard but he soon went to ssleep - be brave - I promise it will work, I wish i had done it sooner....

It might be worth trying the sleeping bag again? Or trying to tuck the covers in really tightly around him????? My son is on the move now, and if he wasn't in his sleeping bag he would be out of covers every two minutes!

Thanks peeps, will defo try that, although not just at the mo as he is having rotten bother cutting his 1st tooth and gets very upset and clingy. His dummy gives him some comfort, and I cant bear to see him more upset than need be. I have only gave him it when he has been near inconsolable, but as soon as that pesky tootsiepeg breaks, that dodie is GONE!!

Yes, wait till he has teeth as otherwise you will be unsure if he is crying for dummy or in pain!!

Good luck!
