My son is almost ready to move out of his bedside crib. He’ll be staying in our room and I’d planned to get a regular cot however he is breastfeeding through the night still and also I’m really not ready for him not to be right there next to me. I saw the next 2 me forever and it looks brill, it’s just very expensive! Has anyone used it and would recommend it? Are there any down sides before I spend all that money on one? Thanks!

I got one when my girl was about 6 months and still using it at 20 months (although she's getting close to being able to climb out now so I think we will be transitioning to a floor bed soon). I would 100% recommend it. Makes overnight breast feeds so much easier, don't need to get out of bed at all overnight. My girl comes into bed with me when she wakes at 4am and all I need to do is pull the side down and she just climbs straight into my bed.
I'll be sad when the time comes that we need to stop using it.

Thanks for your reply! That sounds great! If he can stay in it til he’s 20 months ish it definitely seems worth it! I’d keep him next to me until he’s a grown up if I could 😂 I love being able to just turn to the side and he’s right there. I was worried breastfeeding would get difficult if I had to keep getting out to put him down in a cot so I think I’ll definitely invest in one.
