DS1 was about 16 months and I was gutted.
DS2 is 10.5 months and I can't wait for him to drop his morning nap!

dd2 is 13months and just starting to swap naps around most days she'll sleep 9.30-11.30 and then stay awake all afternoon and got to bed at 6pm (in fact dd1 was around this age although think she used to sleep 11-1 which doesnt work for dd2 as need to leave at 11.45 to pick dd1 up from preschool)

Occasionally if she has had a bad night she'll sleep 9-10 and then 1-2 ish

blissieblue · 22/02/2008 21:15

Well he slept today from 10am to 12pm and that was it until bed at 7pm. He was tired but ok. If he sleeps for more than 2 hours a day I get nervous cos he is hard to settle at night and wakes early. I thought him way too young to drop a nap but maybe not.

DS is 12mo and has just dropped his, although some days he will doze off for 10 mins in the morning if he's out in the pram. He will still only sleep for 90 mins in the afternoon though.

Divastrop · 22/02/2008 21:22

my 11 month old dropped her morning nap about a month ago,and has about an hour after dinner usually.she goes to bed at 7pm.

i think the others were around the same age.

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/02/2008 21:24

purpleturtle · 22/02/2008 21:25

About 12 months

Olihan · 22/02/2008 21:26

Also about 12m for all 3 of mine.

suzi2 · 22/02/2008 21:28

DS was about 18 months or so when he dropped the afternoon one. We then 'slid' the morning one to the afternoon as it suited us better. He's 2.5 now and still needs it most days but we can cope if he doesn't get it.

DD is 1 and finally has 2 naps a day (never took any for months!). I think she might be moving towards dropping the morning one though I think she'll be too grouchy for that jsut yet. She is an awful night time sleeper.

zebedee1 · 22/02/2008 21:32

DS is 9 1/2 months and either has 2 hours from about 10-12 and then no more sleep till bedtime at half 6 or he has 45 mins at 10am and 45 mins around 2pm. Prefer the 1 long nap though as it means I get some time to myself!!

nappyaddict · 22/02/2008 22:12

ds has 2-3 hours in the morning and 1-2 hours in the afternoon.

blissieblue · 22/02/2008 23:09

Nappyaddict - he likes his sleep your boy! Does he sleep well at night too?

9-10 mo I think. She only has one sleep after lunch, 40-60 mins. But its easier to organise the day with just one nap to fit in I suppose.

zebedee1 · 23/02/2008 07:10

Nappy addict I an so envious!

cruisemum1 · 23/02/2008 10:12
