Would anyone put there child in a high sleeper at the age of just 4?

my friend put her ds in the top bunk at under 4. He was fine.
I wouldn't have put my ds in it though.

DTDs went inot a mid sleeper at about 4.

I think official recommendations for top bunk (i.e. high sleeper) is 6yo

ds did , although mid rather than high. Friends' ds was younger and higher !

My Dd is in a bed with a ladder, one of those with the play tent underneath, I think its classed as a mid sleeper, has a rail around the outside, she is 3.
