Help! 6 Month old is always awake! (Or so it feels)

My 6 month old daughter is a terrible sleeper and I'm at a complete loss as to what to do! I've trawled google ...bought sleep plans and nothing seems to work. My other half just says ' what do you expect she's a baby!' Not helpful!
Daytime sleep isn't consistent she has 3 naps a day 9/9:30 12:30 and 3:30 /4:00 - the length of these naps vary every day some days she will sleep for an hour some days only 20 minutes and she is very resistant to being re settled at the end of them to prolong them. I aim for a wake window of 2.5-3hrs between each nap.

Nighttime's are also not great...we have a consistent bedtime routine bath at 6:15 the massage, feed, white noise , sleepbag , bed....she's awake every two hours and will only go back to sleep comfort nursing otherwise she will just scream the house down. She is able to self settle at the start of naps / bedtime but doesn't consistently do this depending on her mood!

She is also awake between 5and 6 a lot and very rarely sleeps until 7!

She is EBF and we are weaning (she's hating food but that a whole different problem!)

Any suggestions please for a very tired mumma who's feeling pretty deflated

Try moving to 2 naps.

I children are 7 and 4 yrs now and without a doubt 6 months was the worst time with both of them so hopefully it will get better soon.

To be honest, your husband’s right.

Repeated nightly wakes are natural and common until well over 1 years old and mostly up and over 2 as well. Many 2 year olds still wake that frequently.

Sleep is developmental, not linear, so it won’t just get better as she gets older but go through good patches and bad. Your baby is not developmentally capable of self settling and won’t be for a very long time yet.

I would just make sure you have the correct wake windows (2-3 hours) between naps and wake up and put to sleep at the same time every day.

Other than that, your baby is just being a baby and their sleep is totally normal.
