Baby in own room, when?!

My DD is 3.5 months, sometimes I think we disturb her in the night leading to more wakings.
When did has anyone started putting there littles ones in their own room at night?
DD has started to have naps in her own room in the day which have gone well.

All babies are unique, as are family preferences. As I'm sure you know, it is suggested that babies are in the same room as you until six months old to help prevent SIDS, but after that, it's really what works for you and your baby. From what you've said, it sounds like she might be happy in her own room then. Equally, if she's more comfortable in with you, then that's also fine! Try not to compare with others, you don't need to x

My obstetrician told me that baby should be sleeping in her own room at six months.
That’s what I did. No issues.

As its advised to keep them with you until.6 months dd was in until 6 months and ds was in until 8 months old. I wouldn't have moved them earlier than that due to SIDs guidance.

Dd went in her own room at 6 months. I then immediately had to put a single bed in there next to the cot for me because I couldn’t hack tripping back and forth for all the night wakings.
