13 week old baby sleeping 5-20 minutes then waking

It's been like this for 3 days.

He'll take his first nap and wake at 10.30am then won't sleep properly again until gone 1am. Today I was lucky and he slept 5.15-6.45pm.

He is absolutely tired but will not stay in a sling for me to get him to sleep, the pram doesn't work either.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this and how to combat it?

Snooze cruise. Take him out in the car. Life saver for us!

I'm going to try to get him to take a nap in the car tomorrow but the problem is as soon as he's moved he wakes up.

There doesn't seem to be a problem getting him to sleep, just the length of sleep.

Hi OP. My 15 week old is similar. I discovered the other day by chance that pulling her hat down over her eyes helps her fall/stay asleep. Obviously, you have to be watching to do this so it doesn't end up over the nose too. The problem with falling asleep in a car seat is they're a SIDS risk, so then you have to move them once you're home.

@CycleGirl20 I wondered if it could be a growth spurt or developmental leap, how long has your baby been the same?
