Our dd is nearly 3, reasonable sleeper, tho we are going into her once a night at the moment for reassurance I think, we used to leave her to settle herself back to sleep but needs us to go in just now. Ds is nearly 8 months, sleeping through (thanks to cc), usually wakes before 5.30, but if we leave him he has settled himself back to sleep until 6.30am, or if he doesn't I get him at 6am. Would we be crazy to put them in together? Ds is currently in spare room. Our hope, apart from wanting them to share, is that dd might be reassured by ds' presence. Our worry is they'll wake each other and ds won't settle back in the morning.
Any expriences/advice, good or bad please.

Our ds's are nearly 2 and 3 and they've been sharing for a couple of months. At first they would wake each other up but now if one is awake the other will sleep through.
Personally I would wait until your 8 month old is over a year, mainly for your own sanity! Especially if you have just managed to establish a good sleeping routine.
