Another self-made rod here - tell me I can go back to how it was!

Before Christmas I had a 2 year old ds who:

Was a total milk monster but due to VERY hard work was down to 2 feeds a day

Went to bed like an angel

Woke up at 5, sometimes for good but sometimes for a cuddle and a lie in.

After Christmas, after about 2 and a half weeks of poorliness (him and me), I have a 2 year old who:

Is a milk monster velcroed to me with too many feeds to count.

Goes to bed wailing for about half an hour.

Sleeps for 2 hours max then goes mental.

Won't settle until he comes to bed with me (that's the rod bit, my fault, I know).

Sleeps (ish) all night and breastfeeds in between until 8 (quite nice to have a lie in, mind)

So have undone all hard work. I can do it all again, can't I? Not looking forward to al the screaming battles . This kid can keep up the shouting for milk battles for 2 hours a night for a fortnight. Not easy when you teach full time

Go fot it - you can do it - shout - 'who's in charge - YOU ARE!!!'

I can't help, but can empathise. I have a 23 month old milk monster, who used to have just 2 feeds a day. I can't imagine how I'll get her back to that at the moment.

you can do it - be firm!
