What sort of bed for a toddler.

My 2 year old DD is ready to move into a bed. I am not sure what sort to go for. She has a small room so was thinking about a cabin bed but not sure if she is too young. Should I just go for a basic mothercare toddler bed type thing. Any advice?

my son also has a small room but have seen on mothercare website a toddler size cabin bed which looks good.

Might be a bit young for a cabin bed. Ikea do good (v reasonable) toddler beds.

We have this one (now on its second occupant), and there's also a guard rail that you can remove once you're happy they're not going to fall out.

Or you could get something like this which has storage underneath, but isn't as high as a cabin bed.
