Hi everyone,

So, I picked DS from nursery early today and his last nap was @ 12:30 for an hour. I thought I could try and get him for a quick booster nap, but it didn't happen. He's now fallen asleep at 5:20 🆘. What do I do? I know if I wake him he will not be happy (tried and tested).

Is it that detrimental to his sleep tonight that it's going to be a rough night?

His sleep has been a bit buggered anyway due to nursery routine and nursery illnesses anyway, but would still love some advice!

How old is he? When is his normal bedtime?

SnackSizeRaisin · 30/03/2022 17:52

In general though I would wake him up after 30 mins or so, aim to feed him and back to bed at 7, if he's under 2. If over 2 I'd leave him

mummyof12021 · 30/03/2022 17:56

@SnackSizeRaisin he's 13 months. He usually goes down about 8/8:30.

@SnackSizeRaisin I will try that, but based on his previous record this sleep means party time for a good few hours 😂

Well you could just leave him and see what happens. He might sleep till morning!

I would wake him up. So he can get into his usual routine of bed at 8.30

mummyof12021 · 30/03/2022 18:15

@SnackSizeRaisin he woke up at 5:55! 8:30 should still work 🤞🏻 thank you ❤️
