my 2.9 year old wakes at least 3 times a night crying, shouting at stairgated door until i go to her to put eventually back to bed, she says she is scared of the monsters in her bedroom, we have tried: sleep fairy, but she got bored, reward chart, special anti monster fairy powder sprinkled around room at bedtime and when she wakes, telling her off, no treats in the morning, reassurance of no monsters, talking to her, etc, but these only work for about a week then she wakes again, PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME SO I CAN SLEEP!!!

Try getting the video of Monsters Inc?

a nightlight and a special night time toy e.g. a gloE bear that lights up and stays lit for 30mins, We got dd (4) and ds (15 months) one each for christmas.

Argos also does other gloE products e.g. Sparkle fairy.

Both of the items have money off at the moment so they are not too expensive.

hi seona 1973, she has a night light already, and bed toys to 'protect her' etc in her room.

We haven't had that prob. But Monsters Inc seems so tailored to it and so gentle and nice that I thought that it might soothe her fears. Good luck.

Hope it helps! Even if it doesn't, it's a nice film.
