Hi, my dd is 14mths old and still not sleeping through. She wakes every night between 1 - 3am and won't go back to sleep without a drink (I give her milk heavily diluted with water but she's quite happy with that!) I don't know whether it's teeth or not - her first one came through at 15wks and she's been getting them steadily ever since - and boy have we felt every one of them! She now just has her 2nd molars to go but I'm worried she's got into the habit of having a drink and a cuddle to get her back off at night. The CC didn't work - we tried it for a week and stuck rigidly to it but in the end exhaustion took over and we just couldn't stand the crying any more - so what do we do now?
She starts her day about 6am (ish) and 4hrs later will go down for a nap - I used to let her sleep as long as she liked but today I'm going to wake her up after and 1hr and see how it goes. She generally then has another sleep at about 3pm for 1hr (I don't let her sleep past 4pm as I'd never her get down to bed at 7.30/8pm). Other than that she's a happy wee sole, is growing well and I've no concerns about her health at all - it's just the sleep. Some times she'll be back down with 10mins other times it's two hours (like last night). I didn't have any of these problems with my ds - he's was a great sleeper from 4mths! Any suggestions?
