I came on here to look for help with my 8 month olds sleep.. and seen there's a few posts about the 8 month sleep regression. That's that's probably it! But what's this regression about, never heard of it before!

Some babies don't experience any regressions; I can't remember them all. But there's one at 4 months, too. Think at 12 months as well.

Some people don't believe in regressions. Personally, I do as like clockwork; my lo would hit a regression as per the internet said.

It's when a lo brain is developing, growth spurts, and separation anxiety when there on the verge of big milestones like crawling or walking. They have difficulty sleeping or going back to sleep, frequent night waking, resisting naps, and such.

I knew more about the 4 month one being a change to their sleep patterns.. but the 8 month one seems more about separation anxiety. He's been crawling and pulling up for a few weeks so I think he's over those changes. Any ideas of how I can help the separation anxiety side?

Just reassure and know it's a phase is all I did x

The bad news is this is the 8-10 month regression.
