What is the nap pattern of your 6 mo old?

Just curious, having read the thread about 5 mo old nap patterns - pretty common traits. DD is about to turn 6 months and I feel her sleep needs are changing but can't quite work out where it's going yet - is there a similar pattern to the every two hours one for younger babies? (And I know there's nothing fixed, ever, but interesting how babies do often need similar things...)

I think it continues to be similar for a while - maybe stretching to 2.5 hours awake time during the day, but i remember that the first nap was always 9 or 9.30 with DD, but second nap could be pushed back a bit. At 12 months, we started to move her towards just one long nap at noon.

My DS is nearly 6 mo too, and i still put him down around 9.15 and 1.15 for naps, usually waking him after 2 hours sleep if he hasn't stirred. As long as he isn't awake before 2.30 in the afternoon, he can usually make it through fine to bedtime at 6.30/7pm.

DD used to wake at 9.00am, then have a nap for about an hour at 11am then back down again from 2-4pm, then bed at 7pm.

well dd is a week off 6mo but there's not really any pattern. She can go from 7-7 with 2 naps of less than half an hour or she can nap for 3 hours at a time. And nothing that happens to naps during the day seems to make an ounce of difference to her night's sleep. Perhaps I should get more of a grip on this?

at 6 mo both of mine followed this pattern:

7am - up
9am - sleep
10am - up
12:30pm - sleep

2pm - up
4:30pm - short nap (20 mins?)
7pm - bed
