Our DD is 15 months old. wakes about 9ish naps at 12 till maybe 2 or so.
Have our dinner about 5
Have Bath around 6 or 6:30
Then read books and watch her einstein movie that she's amazed by.
Then at 7:45 we get dad from work and home by 8:15.
NOW the case used to be on the ride home she'd start to fall asleep or go straight to her cot once we got in the door.except on daddys days off shes in bed by 7:30 or so. so this may be linked with dad being home.
BUT now shes all up for play time when we get home and doesnt actually show signs of sleep till 9;30!!!! THEN it's a battle to get her to bed.
TOnight it was 9:45 she went to bed and I just got out of her room now at 11:20 after plenty ins and outs and rocking her to bed and waking as soon as she hit the matress. SO i did pick up put down which after about 10 trys or so did the trick (phew).
NOw i know shes WAYYYY over tired but how do i make her go back to the 8PM bedtime and overcome this cry fest?
please any input is wonderful.
cheers

ive always put my dd in bed whether she is tired or not.....as my dd is an very active child and does not show any signs of tiredness till i put her in bed for 6.30 - 7pm and she crashed out after ive read her a story etc...

Just put her to bed at the normal time and try carry on putting her back to bed without any talk or eye contact and carry on till she gives up.

if all fails...maybe you need to reduce her nap hours.

good luck

hmm, DD2 is 16 mths and has started screaming at bed time the last few weeks. Not sureif it is teething, having the MMR a couple weeks ago, or not being tired, or being too tired. [clueless], she goes in about 7, and gets up at about 530, she naps 2 or 3 hrs which I am going to cut to 2 at most.
They are wierd little things and I wish she cam ewith a manual, sorrry to be no help whatsoever.
