Would be interested to know what solved your toddler early morning rising. Currently do one nap 12:30 for one and a half hours on average (though varies). Bed at 7. Thank you

Time. Once they were a bit older and going to pre-school then school they gradually slept later.

We've have a not before 7.30am rule at the weekend/holidays since they could tell the time.

@AlexaIWillNeverSayDucking

Later dinner, switched bath to morning and put them down after dinner.

I'd noticed most children I knew were waking up around 12h after they ate, a 5pm kids tea was more strongly associated with early rising l, than bedtime or anything else.

She slept later almost immediately as did about 3 other toddlers from the same toddler group where we canvassed everyone to solve it!

That’s a really interesting theory!

Gro Clock and dropping the nap.

We consider 6am morning in this house due to us usually leaving the house just after 7 for work/grandparents/nursery, which is brilliant because it means a 6pm bedtime and lots of adult time (in reality this is when I get all my planning done - I’m a teacher - but at least without small people climbing on my head!).

Nothing, my now 7 year old has always woken at 6am since a tiny baby. Doesn't matter if he stays up till midnight he is still up at 6am and just cranky the next day

To be fair once school comes along it's good to have a easily riser as they are ready in plenty of time.
