LO has just hit 13 months and over the past few weeks we seem to have hit some kind of sleep regression where she is up 2-3 times in the night and taking aggggges to go back to sleep.
I’ve always breastfed to sleep (still bfing but sometimes hubby can give a bottle before bed) then transfered into cot which has never been a problem and from around 7-12 months LO more often than not slept through the night.
However this has now gone out the window and I’m looking for a solution! Is there anything gentle I can do to help stop the wake ups? In terms of stopping the feeding to sleep- I have tried a few times. We always do bath, story, feed before bed but whenever I try to put her in the cot before she’s fully asleep she’ll just cry cry cry and I can’t handle it! When will that get easier?
The sleep regression does seem to coincide with me returning to work (part time) and LO starting nursery so maybe this could be a bit of separation anxiety but Im really struggling to cope with the sleep deprivation especially on work days! We also struggle to co sleep as LO then finds it fun to climb all over me/escape the bed/pull my hair the little trickster!
Would love some advice x
