If you put your baby in the crib and leave them to self settle, how much noise do they make before doing so? And for how long?
I’ve got an 11mo DD, she won’t fall asleep on the bottle or being rocked anymore, but putting her in the crib results in at least 30 minutes of moaning before she either cries (in which case I get her back out and sit with her for a bit in a rocking chair until she’s drowsy again) or goes off to sleep. The crib moaning is really starting to grind my gears. Is it normal for babies to be so loud and moany before falling asleep??? She’s not crying, just making a really annoying moaning noise or shouting! I wouldnt mind if she just lay there babbling but the moaning does my head in.
When do they just turn over and quietly lie there until they go to sleep???? I need to know how long this will last for my sanity 😂
I know it’s probably totally normal, but I just needed to vent!
