and had only 2 1/2hrs sleep since 9am this morning. I'm about to bath him and start the bedtime routine (he goes down at 8) but I'm really hoping that this isn't a sign of things to come - he's not quite 6 months old yet and by the time he goes down he'll have been awake for 5hrs!

I thought he'd be getting grumpy by now - but no he's giggling away at DS1 and DS2. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.....

well my 6 month old has gone all day with only 15 minutes sleep recently from having been a briliant sleeper. unbelievable. they are little rascals sometimes eh?!

and of course it made NO difference to his nighttime pattern - he woke once (as normal) around 2ish (I think - DH does it).....and was up for 2hrs!!!!

ds2 (4mo) tends to only catnap in the morning and afternoon (30 mins each), plus maybe an hour at lunchtime

is up from 6:30 (alarm clock = ds1) til 7:30
