Hey guys,

How old is your baby and what time do they actually go to sleep at night?

She is 8 months she goes 9:30 pm

bloodywhitecat · 20/05/2021 17:06

1 year old, goes to bed about 6, sometimes falls straight to sleep, sometimes plays in his cot for an hour. Wakes between 6 and 6.30am.

Elbie79 · 20/05/2021 17:11

Five months old, 9.30pm and usually asleep straight away.

Freshair85 · 20/05/2021 17:29

9 months between 7-8pm

ChocOrange1 · 20/05/2021 19:20

13 month old goes to bed at 6.30 and has since she was about 4 months.

ElaborateSalad · 20/05/2021 19:20

16mo 7.30pm

Vicky1989x · 20/05/2021 21:33

12 months old - between 7 and 8pm... usually asleep by 7:30pm most nights.

WithRosesAroundTheDoor · 20/05/2021 21:41

Almost 7m old goes at 7:45-8:00. Once I have her big sister settled down.
She usually goes off within 10 mins if I give her face a stroke. Sometimes goes off on her own if I have to pop back to check on dd1.

Dd1 on the other hand took hours of jigging when she was this age.

silverstrawberry · 21/05/2021 05:42

@chocorange what time does she wake up

Checkingout811 · 21/05/2021 05:49

21 months, goes to sleep between 6.30-6.45 and wakes 7-7.30am
Has done from being 7 months.

Thesagacontinues · 21/05/2021 05:52

Have a 6pm to 6am sleeper here too. Has done this from 4 months.

silverstrawberry · 21/05/2021 09:44

Wow I'm thinking of putting her down earlier in the evening and hopefully she will follow this routine and wake 6am

MaverickDanger · 21/05/2021 10:04

DS is 4.5 months and normally goes down between 8-9. He wakes for the day between 7.30 and 8.30.

He’s our first so it works for us, whereas friends who have more than one tend to put them down earlier when the eldest goes to sleep.

He’s still waking twice a night for feeds.

LakeShoreD · 21/05/2021 13:12

3 month old goes to bed between 6 and 6.30pm. He goes down easily, often stirs about 5/5.30am but pop his dummy back in and he’ll give us another hour. Other than that he doesn’t wake overnight but does have a dreamfeed before we go to sleep.

PastaLaVistaBBY · 21/05/2021 16:19

5 (nearly 6) months, between 6 and 6:30. Wakes at 4, unfortunately... we’re working on that!

NameChange74567 · 21/05/2021 16:30

DD is 10 months and DS is 2yo, they both go to bed at 9 and get up about half 7/8 o'clock.

whenyouknow1youknow1 · 22/05/2021 23:31

DD is 7 months and goes down between 6.30/7.00. Has done since around two months. Takes a bottle usually around 5.30/6.00 and goes back over until 8.40. DS was similar, he's 3 now and does 7-7.30 usually.

user1471518119 · 23/05/2021 13:49

We finish final feed about 1030, on a good night one wake up around 4 or 5 (sometimes six) then back to sleep until about 8 or 9. He's four months old.
I know many people put their babies to sleep a lot earlier but he can't sleep downstairs as it's too bright and I'm not prepared to leave him alone in his room to sleep yet so this works for us. It also means his wake up is generally at an okayish time.

I think it's about finding what works for you as a family rather than anything else.

princessbananahammock252 · 23/05/2021 20:52

Almost 4 months old, goes to bed between 7:15-7:30, and sleeps until about 6:45-7:30.

Pinkblueberry · 23/05/2021 20:57

DS has gone to bed at around 7/7.30 since he was about 8 months old - before that it was a bit earlier but with a dream feed at around 10 before I went to bed.

wigglerose · 25/05/2021 14:36

4.5 months. start bedtime routine at 6.30. DD is asleep enough for me to slip her into a moses basket and leave her between 7.30 and 8.

PixieDust28 · 25/05/2021 14:43

22 months from about 8-9pm. We've tried earlier and he won't settle so pushed his bedtime back and it works for him better.
