10 month old feeding back to sleep

After lots if work, I've got my 10 month old going down for naps and overnight without feeding to sleep. I sit by her crib and shush/sing/pat/stroke/a bit of everything and usually she goes off within 20 minutes. This has taken months but perseverence has paid off!
However now throughout the night has become horrendous. Its always been bad but no sign of anything getting better. Wake ups at least 7-14 times between 7pm-7am with shushing/patting/singing /rocking not doing anything 90% of the time. She screams as if something terrible is happening and arches her back and continues to scream even if she is picked up. The only things that stop this is breastfeeding back to sleep or getting her up and bringing her through to lounge with us to calm down and then resetting back after this. So I end up feeding her basically throughout the night and I am exhausted.
Any advice?

How did you get her off feeding to sleep in the first place? Is it something you can adapt to when the has nightwakings? How is her routine - could she be overtired? My DD was a nightmare if she didn’t get enough daytime sleep.

Sounds really tough.
