My ds is nearly a year and we have had a motion sensor monitor for him, but now of course he rolls off it a lot so we figure we will turn it off (just using the sound facility) - when did you stop using yours? Ta!

Hi

We used on when my son was in his moses basket as i was obsessed with him not breathing, we then had to stop using it as he had to go in an amby bed as he had severe reflux. He is now 16 months and just use it for sound. I would've used it for the first 6 months as thats really the only time to be mainly concerned.

I would say you dont need it now but obviously it is up to you when you feel comfortable with not using it!

I used mine all the time he was in a cot (to about 2yrs) as I found the flashing light quite reassuring, but we didn't get many flase alarms. And when he moved in to a bed, I used it again as it would go off when he got out of bed so we could go up straight away to put him back to bed - very handy for training him to stay in bed.
