Is a 3-4 hour nap for a 19 month old too much?

DS has had 3-4 hour naps since he switched to one nap a day about 5/6 months ago - he sleeps between 8 and 11 hours a night (usually 10 or 11) but still had quite long naps - is that normal?

My DS is 15 months and regularly sleeps for 4 hours (in one or two naps) in the daytime as well as 12 hours at night. I'm thinking it's a lazy boy thing

DS used to be like that at that sort of age. It was very nice .

I do, I have a nap too It's annoying though when he is awake until 2pm which means he is awake at 5-6 so back to bed quite late! Always up early though, no matter how late he does go to bed. On the whole he does go from 8 onwards though which is goooooooood.

my Ds went through a phase at a similar age of going for Long naps - I think becuase he suddenly started running around and using loads of energy. It didn't last.
