19mo, always fed to sleep, now she's trying to do it on her own, how can I help?

That's about it really! We co-sleep, and I've always fed her to sleep at night (tho managed to wean her off it for day sleeps), and now - probably because we've started watching In the Night Garden - she moves away and lies down, and even shuts her eyes, and I say encouraging things, but she won't lie down long enough (how long is long enough?) before changing position and trying again. And eventually she gives up and feeds to sleep.

It's making bedtimes very long!

Just wondered if anyone had any bright ideas. I'm keen to encourage this new trend but at the moment it seems a bit of a dead end.
