Sleeping bags - tall skinny baby

DS is 6mo, he weighs 16lb 11oz and is 70cm tall. Since birth we’ve used grosnugs and his feet are now at the bottom of the 3-9 month ones. I bought some of the 6-18 month ones in the sale but I’ve noticed the minimum weight is 18lb. I think we’re at least a month away from this weight. So now I’m looking for something to bridge the gap. It’s not ideal but blankets just wouldn’t work as he moves around a lot.

I’ve look at snuz and love2dream and these also have a minimum weight of 18lb for the length we need. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Check the neck and whether they can get their head through it when fastened as thats the only issue with a bigger sized bag.

I used to sew on press studs under the arms, like you get in the smaller sizes, to make sure DS couldn't slip his arms out.

Thanks both. I think I need to try them and use some judgement. Weirdly they’re both a slightly different size. I also have a steppee which may fit better.
