I'm following a gentle sleep training program doesn't include any crying it out before anyone jumps on me
Anyone whose done the same so no talking to them just shushing lifting out to settle then straight back in bed .. rubbing tummy but no talking / eye contact

Did it work if so what age and how long until they cracked it

A couple of weeks until I could put down awake and leave the room. The night wake ups took a little longer.

Yes, we did gentle sleep training. We didn't pick DC up but stayed in the room next to eh cot and comforted with voice and patting/stroking.

Best thing we did. He suddenly went from waking 4/5 times a night and short naps to sleeping through til 5.30-6 and much longer naps.

We did it at 6 months but I'm told if you do it a few months later it can take a little longer as it's become a fixed habit to be rocked/fed to sleep.

Good luck!

This didn't work for us, DD was absolutely furious that we were in the room but not cuddling her. I think it really depends on your baby, she's a fiercely independent little madam!
