ok it could well be teething but i can't see any new teeth or even redness and he is not doing all the things he did before when theething. He wakes up between 11pm and 1am and thinks it is the morning and refuses to sleep for several hours and a lot of screaming.
Maybe i have been spoilt because he has been an amazing sleeper (been sleeping through since 7 weeks) til now but just wondering if anyone else has been here - please tell me it got better?!

Had the same thing happen when DS was about 10 mths - it was a nightmare!!! - we think it might have been some form of seperation anxiety, possibly related to DS starting nursery p-t a month earlier. We used the no-cry sleep soloution book - which did help - if nothing else it gave me the confidence that we could deal with it - but after 6 mths or so of good nights sleep we were on our knees - just when we thought it couldn't get any worse it suddenly seemed to sort itself out. The whole thing probably lasted 2-3 weeks but at the time felt like for ever - good luck hope it sorts it self out soon.
