Baby waking up with painful wind

Hello, does anyone have any helpful hints or tips...
DS is 12 weeks old and in the last couple of weeks he's waking up a few times a night in discomfort because he needs to fart. Usually we have to do some tummy rubbing and leg cycling to get it out but once it is he relaxes again and goes back to sleep. Maybe once when we do it he poops.
He's well burped after his feeds as he's a refluxy baby so it propped upright for 20 minutes after his feeds having back rubs anyway.
I don't think it's anything I'm eating as it doesn't affect him during the day. We tried infacol before his reflux was diagnosed and to be honest i didn't notice a difference with gas while using it.
