Baby sleeping bags & hot weather wear

My LO is 5 months and he's slept in a grobag since he was a newborn and now finds it difficult to settle/sleep well if he isn't in one for the night. I'm a first time mum and with all the hot weather I'm worried about what to be dressing him in overnight. We've had a few extremely hot nights where he's had to sleep in just a vest but he was very unsettled and restless. I have a 0.5 tog bag for him, has anybody ever put their LO down for the night in just their nappy and sleep bag? I wondered if this would help him to sleep better whilst still being a safe temperature for him overnight

My dd was. Gro bag addict too 😄
When it was hot I used to do as you suggested - nappy and a 0.5 tog bag. No vest or pjs etc. She was fine.
Is 3.5 now and has had a duvet for a while but when she is ill with a temp or it’s hot during summer she still insists on having her duvet! So I have to put her down in a nappy and a duvet cover with no duvet in it!!
She just likes the feel of it On her I think x

Yep 0.5 & nappy is fine even though it feels quite strange! I think you can also buy 0.2tog but I haven’t got one.
