2 year old and 6 month old bedtime riots!

You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone 😫 my two year old has always been a brilliant sleeper for naps and bedtime, he’s started resisting naps but getting really ratty in afternoon so still has his nap but when he wakes up he cries for about 20 minutes and is then very whiney for half an hour after but that ain’t the worst of it
He’s suddenly stopped going to bed peacefully, he usually falls asleep by himself after a story and bottle but now he’s just screeching and standing up getting out of bed and wanting us to stay with him but like sooo loud screeching I don’t know how to make him stop
And then he probably cries once or twice through night around 4 then is awake crying at 5:45 doesn’t really go back off to sleep then is properly up for day at 6:15
Which is proving difficult as I’m up through night with my 6 month old who since birth got up once a night and then started sleeping though at around 8 weeks old but now he’s waking crying multiple times a night and wanting two bottles again
So as you can imagine I’m shattered I can cope with the baby waking as it’s to be expected but what can I do with my toddler? I tried letting him cry it out as i know he’s putting it on as as soon as you lie with him he stops crying so he needs to learn screaming doesn’t get him what he wants but I don’t know how to teach him please please please help
