7 month old suddenly treating bedtime as just another nap.

Hello,

My (almost) 7 month old is suddenly waking an hour after we put him to bed (normally between 6.30 and 7 pm) and then won't go back down again until we go to bed at 10.30 ish.

A few confusing factors..... we have been out of the country for 2 months and during this time developed a good routine of bed at 7, wakes for a bottle at 2 am and up for the day at 7am. Since being back home (only for three days mind you) I've had to wake him at 8 am.... he naps well in the day and is ready for bed at 6.30/ 7pm and goes down very easily. BUT an hour later he is up again and refuses to go back down - wide awake and flapping about. He then goes to bed with us at 10.30 I mostly co-sleep although he naps in his next to me cot and is put to bed in the cot.

Any tips on getting back to normal after a holiday?

What is a 'normal' for want for a better word, sleep routine for 7 month old?

Emma xx
