Sleeping schedule

My DS is 4 months old, sleeps through the night for about 10 hours and has 3 or 4 naps a day but doesn't have specific times he naps, we all usually go to bed around half 11 at night. I bf him to sleep and during the day he sleeps on me which I don't mind, I love the cuddles and I can get things done around the house whilst he is playing on his play mat or when my partner is home. He is my first child and is doing well, reaching all his milestones and gaining weight. Do I need to put him in a sleep routine? Is there any benefit of putting him in a routine? I just want to make sure I'm doing the best I can for him.
