Baby thrashing around in sleep

My 12 week old baby thrashes around in her sleep sometimes. It’s getting worse this week. Her arms and legs flail. I get woken by her hands/arms banging onto the mattress. Sometimes she wakes herself up. It doesn’t look like comfortable sleep. She’s also losing her hair in a ring around her head as her head turns each time.
I’ve tried winding and do sometimes get a burp but 10 mins after putting her down to sleep again she starts all over again.
Any ideas?

Mine is the same age and does this too - i think it might be to do with maturing sleep cycles? She's not sleeping as deeply and so is thrashing a bit during the light periods.

I wouldn't worry about the hair, it doesnt matter at all at this age.
