My 6 week old will not sleep during the day in his moses basket. I can’t even put him down in it to pee and he’s crying. He’s fine in his next to me at night so I wondered if it was because he couldn’t see me but even if i sit next to the basket he’ll wake up within 5 minutes screaming! Any suggestions of how to fix it.

Ditch the Moses basket. DD hated hers, I moved her to her full sized cot at 4 weeks. Downstairs she slept on a folded over blanket on the floor, in her bouncy chair, or on me (mostly on me!).

Yeah, my DS thought being put in his basket was like being thrown into the fires of Mount Doom.

He was happy in a babybjorn bouncer though, so he napped in that during the day- and went in when I needed to do something.

mine was only happy in her vibrating bouncer

Absolutely normal.

Look up 4th trimester, helped me understand why which made it a bit easier to get through.

If he's happy in a crib at night I would consider that winning and not be too concerned at all that he doesn't wasnt to be put down during the day. He's only little so just let him sleep on you.
