EBF babies aged 16 weeks or thereabouts... how are they sleeping?

Hi all.

My EBF little boy is 16 weeks and is currently going to bed at 7, then feeding about every 3.5 ish hours through the night. So a feed at 10.30, 1.30-2ish and then 4.30am or thereabouts.

My daughter (now 3) was a TERRIBLE sleeper and I barely slept for the first 3 years of her life, she woke as frequently as 3 times an hour well into her second year.

So I guess I’m asking those mums with a baby of a similar age to my little boy, who are exclusively breast fed, is my little boys pattern similar to your baby?! I’m hopeful he’ll be a better sleeper and these wake ups are pretty standard!

Thanks x

That was better than DS was doing at that age (and to be honest ever until he was night weaned). I was BF every 2 hours round the clock pretty much but as he was done in 10 mins, not as bad as it sounds really

At 2 and a half, he wakes once or twice most nights. OCcasionally sleeps through
