Recommendations for a duvet for a 2 year old?

My daughter is 2 and she sleeps in a sleeping bag in her cot. I am thinking about moving her to a single bed in the next couple of months. I am not sure if I should just move her to a single 4.5 tog duvet or if I should get a cotbed duvet (which seem to be 4.0 tog) and then get a larger single duvet when she gets a bit older. Does anyone have any tips?

We use a normal single duvet about 4 tog but turn it the other way round and fold it under the mattress so it fits. I’m too tight to buy a cotbed duvet and sheets for such a short period of use.

We did exactly the same as Orangedaisy - normal single, but turned sideways and one end put under the mattress to reduce movement and make it easier to pull back.

Seems a waste of money to buy a tiny duvet for a few months use. Our daughter had a normal single duvet on a single bed - I think its 4.5 tog.

Thank you for the replies. I think I will do that too!
