17mo still unsettled at night after illness

Has anyone struggled with unsettled toddler sleep following illness?

My 17 month old has had various illnesses this winter (colds, virus etc) and has been symptom-free for the last few days, but has been very unsettled at night for the last two weeks now... Waking up crying several times a night, wanting cuddles and sometimes milk. She usually wakes around the same times: 22:00-00:00 or 05:00ish. She doesn't seem to have teeth coming through.

Really hoping things get back to normal soon as my poor husband has been covering the nights while I am doing the mornings and we are both back at work soon 😩.

Thanks for reading x

Same here - our wake ups have been 1am and 6am. Resulting in very tired baby and Mum 😂 just going to hope it passes and get some early nights!

My 16. Month old has been same. I reakon they are also at a stage where they are learning more things to. Making sleep tricky for them. Saying that my toddler has been waking between 530 and 6 and that's a good night for us lol. I take it urs wakes later? 7 till 530ish is normal here. Lay in if till 6 lol Have had 4am wakings this week and gone back to sleep with milk then slept till 630 x

Posting in solidarity with a 16 month old who has had hand foot and mouth followed by a virus. She's gone from sleeping through to waking 1-2 times a night and being quite unsettled. I've put her in thicker pjs as she seemed to be feeling the cold more, tilted her cot and popped some olbas around the room as shes better but still has a slight cough. She hasnt wanted to eat much which hasn't helped and has been super clingy.
