16 month old twins self settling?

Hi, my twin boys are 16 months old. One used to selfsettle really well (he loves his sleep). The other has always needed to be cuddled or fed to sleep but could self settle if really tired in the daytime.
Since being ill with bronchiolitis and then a bad stomach virus, they have needed more reassurance at night and have ended up cosleeping with us, one twin in our bed with my partner and the other with me in the spare room. They just can't seem to self settle anymore even though they're better now. The one who finds it harder to sleep anyway will cough until he vomits at night sometimes which means I'm reluctant to let him cry even a little. I don't mind cosleeping as such but it means that as soon as one twin wakes up in the evening, me or my partner has to go to bed. Any tips for how to break this cycle please?

Hi There Tinmum2,

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble getting your twins to self-settle - we don't have any magic answers but we're hoping some of our users will be along soon to help you out.

Good Luck and we hope 2020 brings some sleep!
