Hi.I posted a few weeks ago about my 14 month waking early. He's inconsistent. Last week we were randomly doing really well waking at 5.45-6.15. This week back to 5am wakings. I dunno what to do. Really down my husband and I have dared do a few evening things this (husband went to see footie at Mates I met a Friend at pub etc) It makes no difference when he naps or how long he naps for last week was same as this week nap wise. Its going to be awful on Sunday!! I can't bare the idea that I am up at 5 and have 2 kids all day. I no that sounds awful but it's so longggg! I just want consistency. I wana no why yesterday he woke at 5.30 by 4.50 today and why this time last week it was 6. He wants milk as soon as you get him up or if u go into the room he crys and crys if u don't give him milk. Should I give up morning milk? He just had a bottle and I put him back to bed as I refuse to get up with him till nearer 6 but he's chatting not going back to sleep. He shares a room and he will eventually wake his sister so I will have to get him up. Im am sorry about rant I no it happens to us all I just feel like my husband is happy to get up on his days but we don't talk about how we could make it consistent or dropping milk etc that's my department
Thanks for reading

I am in exactly the same position. I'm dreading Sunday so much. 4.30am every sodding day!! It's driving me mad. Been this was for about a month now. Its ruining our lives.
I'm so sorry you're going through this too. It's really shit. I have no advice at all. We are going to try an extra layer in case he's cold and a later bed time but Im Doubtful it will work. Sorry op, good luck

Thegracefuloctopus thanks for replying. It's so hard isn't it. I have tried later bed time but he is so tired by 7. Last week we were in hospital till 8.40pm he fell asleep in car I got him in the cot but he still woke at 6.15! We did a week of bed at 7. 30 but didn't really change. What time does ur lo go to bed? Do u give milk in morning? X

I'm with you my little girl is up at 5 everyday and come lunch time I am exhausted. The last 2 days she has kicked off a stinker about her day time nap aswell. There is no chance that I'm cutting her nap out despite how much she creates and my DH response being "just let her stay up" he's not the one pulling his hair out

It's so hard. I work twice a week. My husband is great as take it turns but I get so cross coz I have to have them all day which is fine really but at 5 in the morning I get a sense of dread of a the argumentz with 4 year old and washing up and all that kicks in. It's so hard when ur tired. I no work is to but at least it's with different humans and one's that are adult lol

DS is so tired by 6pm its such a battle. He was up at 4.30 today and is already back in bed for a nap. I work 4 days a week and at the moment I'm walking into the office and being offered coffee within seconds because I look so tired.
He does have milk as soon as he gets up in the morning as he just cries otherwise so I'm also going to up his portion sizes in the day in case it's hunger. Im just so confused and so tired
